Burne-Jones died on Jin London, United Kingdom. The artist’s career was dotted with honors, including the Presidency of the Birmingham Society of Artists and the Baronetage of the United Kingdom. They are both credited for helping to bring about a resurgence of craft-based artwork to England during the late 19th century. Beginning around 1862, working with Morris he began producing stained glass windows as well as tapestries and rugs.
